By purchasing through the Genesis Home Office Shop, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

Order Fulfillment & Equipment Sourcing

 

Genesis provides a curated equipment sourcing service designed to help customers obtain devices commonly suited for remote work and home office needs.

Products may be fulfilled through trusted third-party suppliers, retailers, distributors, or marketplaces based on availability and value at the time of order. Genesis may source equivalent or upgraded products that meet the intended specifications.

Genesis does not guarantee a specific cosmetic design, packaging style, or brand appearance unless explicitly stated in the product listing.

Product photos may be for illustrative purposes only.

Shipping Policy

 

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

Estimated delivery is generally 3–7 business days, depending on location, inventory availability, and supplier fulfillment timelines.

Tracking details are normally sent once the order has shipped.

Genesis currently ships to addresses within the continental United States unless otherwise stated.

Genesis is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, fraud holds, incorrect addresses entered by the customer, or supplier shortages.

Financing Options

 

Eligible purchases may offer installment payment options through third-party providers such as:

  • Klarna

  • Afterpay

  • PayPal Pay Later

  • Other approved providers shown at checkout

 

Financing availability is determined solely by the provider. Genesis does not control approvals, credit decisions, payment plans, fees, or repayment terms.

Financing options may not appear until checkout information is entered.

Return Policy

 

We want customers to feel confident in their purchase.

Return Requests

 

All return requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of confirmed delivery to:

Include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Item(s) requested for return

  • Reason for return

Return Standards

 

All returns must meet standard major retailer condition requirements (including Amazon-equivalent standards where applicable), generally meaning:

  • Original or like-new condition

  • No misuse or damage

  • All included accessories returned

  • Packaging reasonably intact

Return Deposit

 

Genesis may require a return deposit up to the full purchase amount before authorizing certain returns.

Refunds

 

Once the item is received and approved:

  • Any required return deposit will be refunded

  • Original purchase amount refunded less a 20% restocking fee

 

Returns may be denied or partially refunded if items are damaged, incomplete, heavily used, late, or fail inspection.

Warranty Policy

 

All qualifying Genesis equipment purchases include a 2-Year Genesis Limited Warranty from the original purchase date unless otherwise stated.

Coverage generally includes defects in materials, normal hardware function failure, or qualifying mechanical issues under standard use.

Warranty Claim Process

 

To begin a claim, email:

Include:

  • Name

  • Order number

  • Description of issue

  • Photos/video if applicable

 

Genesis may provide troubleshooting steps before replacement.

Replacement Deposit

 

In some cases, Genesis may require a temporary replacement deposit before shipping a replacement device. Once the original unit is returned and inspected, the deposit may be refunded in full.

Exclusions

 

Warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Abuse or neglect

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Missing accessories

  • Cosmetic wear not affecting function

 

Compatibility Disclaimer

 

Genesis equipment packages are selected to generally meet common remote-work technical standards. However, different employers, clients, or platforms may have separate requirements.

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their intended use before purchase.

Purchase of equipment does not guarantee employment, certification, onboarding, or approval with Genesis or any third party.

Limitation of Liability

 

Genesis is not liable for:

  • Loss of income

  • Missed hiring opportunities

  • Employer disqualification decisions

  • Shipping delays

  • Carrier damage outside our control

  • Third-party financing decisions

  • User setup errors

  • Software compatibility changes by outside organizations
