Genesis has long been a small business founded by Shannon Wiggins, a military spouse, and maintains it's connection, commitment, and devotion to military service, community, and nation. Building upon those principles, Genesis has joined the Veteran Owned Business (VOB) project as an official member; partnering alongside over 5,000 other military affiliated businesses. This membership will build upon Genesis' pursuit in "meeting the demands of today while helping others overcome the challenges of tomorrow."
VOB membership includes an official "Military Spouse Owned" seal displayed in the footer of the Genesis website.
More importantly, this membership contributes toward Genesis' corporate social responsibility strategy by helping VOB achieve it's goal of increasing it's reach and ability to help the military community (veterans, military service members, and their respective families).
VOB's mission is "to help empower military veterans [and spouses] who own businesses to grow, hire fellow veterans and give back to military veteran organizations that directly impact the servicemen and women (and their respective families) who proudly served our great nation."
