Welcome StarFires!

My name is Jamie and I’m so excited to have you on my Team. What does it mean to be a member of Team Starfire? Well, StarFire is a character from DC Comics that harnesses solar energy for strength and embodies determination, dedication, passion, and special skills - all traits that you possess as an Agent. I want you to be an unstoppable Star (on Fire!) moving to meet all your goals with Genesis. We’re a Team that encourages you to grow and I want to help fulfill your dreams. I believe that when you follow your dreams, you can reach the stars and beyond. I can’t wait to help!

A little about me. I was born and raised in rural Wisconsin. Yes, think cheesehead, cows, and fields! Growing up, that was my life for about 34 years. Eventually, my family decided it was time for a change. We loved the east coast for travel and thought why just visit? Why not live there? We’re now in Greenville, South Carolina at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. My husband is a project manager, specialized in engineering, so he has to travel a lot.

This job has been a blessing because it allows me the flexibility to still be there for my kiddos.

We’re blessed with four wonderful children, Alexis (17), Lucas (14), Estella (8) and Peyton (6). I am also a dog mama to Magnolia, who is 2. She’s a 100 pound Saint Bernard with a huge heart. This job has been a blessing because it allows me the flexibility to still be there for my kiddos. When I’m not working, I’m enjoying my children's sports, baking, traveling, and hiking the mountains to many beautiful waterfalls.

I’ve been with Genesis since 2018. I recognized opportunities to grow, unlike many other call centers, and am very excited for this opportunity to be your Support Specialist. I started by servicing a magical company many may know of; but moved into another client in 2021, which I truly feel a connection to as I do many home improvements and really relate to it. I enjoy every minute of servicing because it really is a magical experience. In 2021, I moved into a new role as an instructor as well, which I truly feel is an amazing experience, to help learners such as yourself become skilled in the clients systems and to help them benefit off of this wonderful experience. So I know exactly what you’re going through and how to be successful because I have been there; and still am.

Prior to Genesis, I worked for a traditional medical billing call center and another that eventually downsized. At this point, I wanted something different that would allow me to stay home with my kids and discussed options with my husband. We chose Genesis because of the amazing support if offers. Since then, it’s been a dream and I have never felt alone. I hope to pay it forward.

I really want to know, what is your "why?" Just like StarFire derives her powers from the sun, your "why" is what pushes you to keep you going even when things get tough - it's your power source. My why is in the collage picture above. They are my reason for everything. I love the flexibility that Genesis offers me to be home and active with my children's events.
